Sentinel Bridge

Sentinel Bridge provides an excellent view of Half Dome and its mirrored reflection on the Merced River, especially at sunset. Tips & Seasonal Information Sentinel Bridge can be reached by car year-round. This bridge is a short walk from Yosemite Village Parking. Additionally, a small parking lot is located next to thebridge, which can only be reached via the northbound traffic lane from Southside Drive. The reflection of Half Dome on the Merced River is best viewed when water is low and relatively still, such as fall or winter. Accessibility Designated accessible parking spaces are located nearby. There is a pedestrian path that leads from the bus stop and parking area, across the street, to a paved sidewalk leading onto the bridge.
